Cattle handling for schools with Vaughan Campagnolo 2026

Workshop Overview

In this hands-on, two-day workshop, expert cattle handler Vaughan Campagnolo will demonstrate low-stress methods for preparing cattle for showing in a school setting. Vaughan will work with cattle that have not been previously handled and demonstrate the first steps in preparing them, ensuring they are safe for students and staff to work with, and setting up school show programs for secure and successful outcomes.

Held at the Showgrounds to build familiarity and confidence in the lead-up to the Adelaide Show, the workshop will also cover preparing show stalls, tying knots, required equipment, biosecurity and paperwork, animal welfare, nutrition and more.

This workshop is ideal for school teachers and other show team staff who are new to showing cattle, or those looking to build their skills and update their knowledge.
Please note: This workshop is not suitable for students.

Catering

Catering will be provided. Please advise of any dietary requirements upon registration.

Optional Dinner

For those interested, a group dinner booking will be made for Friday 27 March at the Goodwood Hotel. Meals and drinks will be at your own expense.
