The intention of the ATASA Executive is to present a conference program to support teachers in delivering a dynamic, innovative and relevant curriculum to their students.
The 18th biennial conference program aims to reflect this and in particular provide resources for those teaching agriculture. It also provides learning opportunities with a focus on current agriculture practised in the Mid-North of SA.
Our theme for the 2025 conference is 'Doing More with Less'.
In an era of growing demand and limited resources, the future of farming lies in doing more with less. Through innovation, precision agriculture, and eco-friendly practices, today’s farmers are maximizing yields while conserving water, energy, and soil health. By embracing cutting-edge AgTech solutions and climate-smart strategies, the industry is reducing inputs and waste, all while producing more food to feed a growing global population.
Tickets are priced for members and non-members.
Conference dinner tickets are available for purchase for those only wanting to attend this event.
See our program for full details here.
Farm tours will also visit various sites across the Jamestown, Orrorro and Burra areas.
Cancellation Policy- Tickets cancelled after April 25th will be refunded 50% of ticket price refunded less the booking fee.
