Established in 1981 the Agricultural Teachers Association of South Australia (ATASA) facilitates a connection between agricultural teachers, students and industry.
 
Our objectives:

  • to provide an organisation through which information, ideas and resources relating to agricultural education (academic & vocational pathways) may be disseminated.
  • to act on behalf of the members in expressing publicly the consensus attitudes and opinions of the members.
  • to conduct activities aiding the professional development of members.
  • present biennial state conferences as opportunities for members and affiliated communities can network and obtain up to the minute knowledge in the field of agriculture.

  • You can attend ATASA-hosted events & professional development for free or at a significant discount.
  • You are included in a group email subscription and ATASA Teachers Facebook Group where you can communicate with all other members.

  • Access to the ‘ATASA manual’ where important dates, key contacts, show guides and many other helpful tips are included.

Membership Information:

Membership is available to agriculture teachers, educators and associated organisations.
Membership is held for two years and paid biennially in July in conference years.

Current membership period is 1st July 2023 to 30th June 2025.

We have three membership options:

  • Individual-$100
  • Student Teachers-$20
  • Life Members- Free
